The workroom’s order book
Window treatments, upholstery and cushions from one Norwood workroom
Rose Lytle and The Sewing Loft have been sewing for Cincinnati homes since 1999. Three kinds of work come through the door at 2105 Lawn Ave., and they are sold and made differently.

Measured in your home, sewn in the workroom
Custom window treatments
Draperies, cornices, Roman shades and valances, each made to measure. Rose measures at your windows, works the fabric yardage out on paper before anything is cut, and the treatments are installed professionally when they are done.
- In-home measurement and consultation, by appointment
- Fabric and trim samples to choose from, or your own fabric if it suits the job
- Design help through partner designers for paint and fabric colour

The piece you cannot let go of
Upholstery
A chair passed down from a dear aunt, or a quirky find from an antique shop that belongs in your reading nook. Rose helps you choose the right fabric for the frame and gives the piece a second life. Furniture painting with Chalk Country Paint is part of the gallery too.
The finishing touches of a room
Bedding, cushions and pillows
Indoor and outdoor cushions and pillows, designed, fabricated or recovered. If your home has a window seat, the cushion is built for how you intend to use the space. See the cushion and pillow work.

Pick the cloth, then watch it become the piece
The shop carries a large assortment of fabric: indoor/outdoor cloth, and fabrics suited to upholstery, drapery, bedding, pillows and cushions. Fabric and trim samples are on hand for every project, and a customer’s own fabric can be used when it is the right quality for the application.
